Well! To start with, writing a blog is seriously the last thing I thought I would possibly be doing. But when I was asked to write about my experience in OPSPL, I was head over heels & all ready to scream out and share my thoughts with others. :P
I wouldn't hesitate the slightest bit in saying "I just love my job!"
My previous job profile was of an Associate Software Engineer where I had to do software testing & communicating with clients. And hence, when I was asked to join OPSPL as a Project Co-ordinator, I feared I wouldn’t be able to meet their expectations.

But, as days passed by, I learnt more and more and grew in experience. I got to handle various intriguing tasks with each passing day.
Most of us are under the impression that there's nothing much to do as a Project Co-ordinator; and they are just a bunch of crazy people running around trying to get updates from everyone. Who knows what they do with all that information, right?
Yes! Of course! It’s something very easy to do… Just as simple as Herding Cats!! ;)
Well! Here's a short summary of some of the tasks we handle. My day starts by checking emails from various clients, taking updates from all developers on the projects in hand, followed by updating our Project Head on the current status of the same.Next comes the responsibility of having the team meeting on the upcoming and present projects which involves assigning tasks, structuring work plans and timelines, communicating with all people who are involved in the project, quality assurance testing, checking task logs, ensuring the task is completed in time in the most appropriate manner possible, deadlines, documenting work requirements etc.
Well, that's not all! When the developers are stuck with a issue in the software, we sit down breaking our heads till we get a solution, to fix the same. But of course, if we are still unable to solve the same, we have our Project Head who’s always at our rescue! He's like a perfect guide.
Trust me! The feeling is way better that sitting on the fancy seat & gulping down a chunky piece of chicken at a fancy restaurant. :)
I would like to wind up by saying, there's nothing that I've regretted about ever since I joined as a Project Co-ordinator. The leaning experience is amazing. And each day I leave with the thought that "I have achieved something today".
